Job Description

Available Positions

Mobile Marine Mechanic

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

You're welcome to work weekends if you need the extra hours! (weekend hours not required)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect engines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
  • Use diagnostic software to diagnose engine issues.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Read and carry out work orders
  • Work effectively with other team members

We’d prefer to hire a candidate who has formal marine mechanic training at a technical school, but may hire the right candidate without this training.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license with clean record
  • High school or equivalent
  • Own a basic set of mechanics tools
  • Transportation to and from Scheduled jobs
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team!
  • At Minimum have a deep understanding of how boats work and the ability to perform the steps needed to fix the problem
  • Being able to problem solve is required (experience is not required for this position)
