Whether you're navigating solo or with a crew, the H5000 Pilot Computer integrates seamlessly into the H5000 ecosystem, delivering advanced steering logic and robust connectivity.

  • Selectable Steering Modes: Choose between Heading, Wind, or Waypoint modes to match your navigation strategy.
  • Wind-based Control Options: Utilize Apparent Wind Angle (AWA), True Wind Angle (TWA), or Polar wind modes for nuanced wind steering under sail.
  • Responsive Sailing Algorithms: Features Gust Response, Recovery Mode, and High Wind Response for dynamic adaptation to changing sea and wind states.
  • Robust Drive & Power Output: Supports 12/24 VDC drive systems with reversible motor control rated at 30 A continuous (50 A peak for 1 second). Solenoid control supports up to 10 A.
  • NMEA Connectivity: Full support for NMEA 0183 (input/output) and NMEA 2000 (CAN, 1 LEN) networks for sensor and instrument integration.
  • Compass & Rudder Sensor Support: Accepts compass sensor data from both NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 sources. Compatible with rudder feedback sensors including RF300, RF45X, RF25N, and RF70.
  • Durable & Marine-rated Design: Operates in temperatures from –15 °C to +55 °C (5 to 131 °F) and designed with an IPx5 waterproof rating to withstand harsh marine environments.
