The MBT-RXv2 wireless receiver is designed to easily add high-quality streaming audio capability to virtually any sound system.
Equipped with BLUETOOTH wireless technology and the Qualcomm® aptX™ HD audio codec, the MBT-RXv2 wireless receiver sends top-quality sound directly to any amplifier or source unit with line-level inputs via a pair of crystal-clear preamp outputs (4-volt RMS).
Housed in a sealed and water-resistant (IPX7-rated) chassis, this premium audio receiver is ideally suited for challenging outdoor applications, its tiny design can easily fit in almost any installation location. A simple procedure is all it takes to pair MBT-RXv2 to your device, with automatic reconnection afterward. Bluetooth Music Streaming: The JL Audio MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Receiver is Bluetooth version 5.0 certified and supports Bluetooth profile A2DP for wireless music streaming. With the MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Receiver you'll be able to stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled source device to your audio system. Music navigation and song/artist information will still be handled by your Bluetooth-enabled device. The unit has a wireless Bluetooth operating range of approximately 35'.

Qualcomm aptX HD: In addition to support for Bluetooth's standard SBC audio codec, the JL Audio MBT-RX (V2) offers support of Qualcomm's aptX HD codec for 24-bit high resolution audio streaming from select Android smartphone and tablet devices (*Apple iPhone and iPad devices do not support aptX HD). Qualcomm aptX HD audio coding technology provides 24-bit wireless HD audio with higher signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and lower total-harmonic distortion (THD) for better sound.

Multi-Device Pairing: Multiple Bluetooth-enabled source devices can be paired with the MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Receiver, but only one can be connected and used for playback at a time.

IPX7 Waterproof: With an IPX7-rating, the JL Audio MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Audio Receiver is engineered to be waterproof. The IPX7-rating ensures that the unit can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes without any damage.

Stereo RCA Outputs: Use the JL Audio MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Audio Receiver's stereo RCA outputs to connect to any amplifier or source unit with line-level or auxiliary inputs. The attached stereo RCA output cable is 5' in length. If your amplifier or source unit features stereo 3.5mm minijack connectors, you'll also need a stereo minijack-to-RCA adapter (sold separately).

Power/Ground Requirements: The MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Receiver will require a hard-wired power, remote turn-on, and ground connection. The attached power (red), remote turn-on (blue), and ground (black) wires are 2' in length. There is 2A in-line fuse installed on the red power wire.
Mounting Options: The MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Receiver includes a self-adhesive backing to mount the device or you can use two screws (not included) to mount the unit. The unit measures 2.6875" (w) x 0.875" (h) x 2.3125" (d).
Note: The JL Audio MBT-RX (V2) Bluetooth Audio Receiver does not support wireless hands-free phone communication for making or answering phone calls.
