Product Description

ZC 2 Remote Portrait for Vertical Mounting (000-12365-001)

Take complete command of your helm station with the B&G ZC2 Remote Controller (00012365001), an advanced, portrait‐oriented remote keypad designed with sailors in mind for streamlined navigation and control.

Whether mounted in a cockpit pedestal, chart table or other vertical orientation, this controller delivers fluid, intuitive operation in demanding marine environments.

  • Designed for portrait (vertical) mounting—ideal for pedestal or chart‐table installation with narrow 60 mm width and cable exit optimized for tight spaces.
  • Operates up to six networked multifunction displays (MFDs) from one single NMEA 2000® connection—enabling simplified wiring and centralized control.
  • Compatible with the latest of the brand’s marine MFDs — including Zeus², Zeus³, Glass Helm and Vulcan systems — for full integration with top-tier navigation platforms.
  • Includes autopilot remote control capability via any networked display on the system—giving you direct tap control of your autopilot through the keypad/dial interface.
  • High-quality aluminum rotary dial with knurled edge for precision control and built-in cursor functions—perfect for chart zooming, menu navigation and fine adjustments even in rough seas.
  • Rapid display switching: dedicated button plus integrated LED indicators clearly show the selected display number—so you can jump between screens quickly and confidently.
  • Mounting flexibility: remote supports dash mount with a slim 8 mm profile and can also be fully flush mounted using the optional bracket for a seamless, low-profile installation.
  • Built to perform in harsh marine conditions: front-facing rated to IPX6 (when mounted flush with gasket), rear side IPX2; operating temperature from 5 °F to 131 °F (-15 °C to +55 °C).
  • Minimal power consumption: typical draw just 0.6 W (0.5 W minimum; max 1.0 W) on a 12 V DC supply (10-16 V range) with recommended 5 A fuse.
  • Established marine-electronics compliance and reliability: IEC/EN 60945 approved and backed by a 2-year warranty.

Additional features include integrated high-decibel speaker for critical alarm alerts (MOB, system warnings) and compass safe distance of 200 mm.

Why Choose the ZC2 Remote Controller?
For sailors who demand precision and clean installation, the ZC2 delivers. With a single rugged Micro-C NMEA 2000® connector supporting both power and data, you eliminate clutter while controlling multiple displays from a single panel.

Whether racing or cruising, the knurled aluminium dial offers exceptional tactile feedback, even under gloves or in wet conditions. Installation is highly versatile—mount it flush for a sleek integrated look or dash-mount with the ultra-low profile and still maintain full functionality.

And with global compatibility across B&G’s flagship MFD platforms and autopilot integration, it becomes the nerve-centre of your helm.

Installation note:
Ensure connection to your NMEA 2000® backbone with 2 LEN load at Micro-C port, observe recommended 5 A fuse on the 12 V DC supply, maintain a minimum compass safe distance of 200 mm and use factory-provided gasket for full IPX6 protection on the front face.

Ideal for: sailors upgrading their electronics array, boat builders designing streamlined cockpits, racing teams needing rapid screen switching, and any vessel owner seeking a high-end integrated remote control for multi-display marine navigation.
